SPIRIT OF DEATH DESTROYED

I am an actor in one of the leading soap operas on television. About two weeks ago, strange occurrences started taking place in the lives of all the other actors, one after the other. One of the actors lost his wife, an actress lost her elder brother and it culminated in the death of one of the lead actors.

When I heard the news of the death of my colleague, I felt I was going to be the next target. I prayed and told God to take control.

I was on set at Ojodu, when I started feeling dizzy and subsequently passed out. I was revived after two days to find myself at the hospital. After a series of tests, the doctor discharged me saying that there was nothing wrong with me.

I then knew that it was a spiritual attack. Despite the doctors’ verdict, I felt so weak but I kept meditating on the word that Pastor prophesied “no man shall die prematurely in this church”. I spent a whole week indoors, not going anywhere, telling myself “I shall not die, I must live”. I thank God that I am alive to testify to the glory of God.

FAVOUR ON EVERY SIDE

For some years now, I have been roaming the streets of Lagos without a personal accommodation, squatting with people, but I kept on walking with God and I kept myself away from sin.

On January 3rd this year, God linked me up mysteriously with somebody that paid 2 years rent for a 3-bedroom flat for me. Praise the Lord!

Some times ago, I lost my Bible containing my International Passport and other documents. I was in a bus heading for Opebi Allen when I discovered it was missing. I was very sad when I got to my office at Toyin Street, but God used the husband of my boss to replace the Bible. I, however, reported the matter at the police station because of my passport.

Yesterday, about 4 months after the incidence, I visited my sister and she told me that some people came looking for me with the Bible. They said (according to her) that I forgot the bible in a car. They refused to drop the bible but left their address. I traced them to Bariga where I got my bible and all my documents intact from them. This is truly a miracle. I Give God all the glory.

SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY DESTROYED

For some years now, I noticed that I don’t celebrate my birthday in good health. I usually fall sick and remain sick until my birthday is over. So on December 4th last year, I fell sick and remained sick till the end of the year. I knew Satan wanted to play the same trick on me again. My elder brother brought me to this church and since then my life changed.

When my birthday was about one week away, I told the pastor. I wanted to testify in faith before the day comes, but I restrained myself. I didn’t know whether I would fall sick again, so told myself to wait for the birthday to be over before testifying. To God be the glory – I celebrated this year’s birthday in good health and I am so happy because I know I will not be sick again on my birthday. God has destroyed the spirit of sickness forever.

IT IS MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

So far, this year has truly been my year of fulfilment. Everything Pastor said about this year, God has done it for me.

I had two problems. One of my sons is in medical school and was preparing for a very difficult exam this year. This year, he sat for the exam and came back home immediately after. He did not even wait to see his result. He told me with assurance that everything was fine. I agreed and I thanked God.

My last son is not really a problem to me but he must attend the school he desires. He said that he would either go to UNILAG or nowhere. I told him “fine, if your father is the V.C of the school, you can just walk in”.

He heard that UNILAG had started running a pre-degree programme and that there would be an entrance examination. He was very excited. He went and wrote the exam. Afterwards, he said emphatically that he had been admitted. When the result came out, his name was on the first list. I reminded him that there was still an interview coming up. He said that he would make it even better.

At the end of the day, he passed and was admitted into the university and was given accommodation. I give God the glory.

DIVINE PROTECTION

On the first Sunday of this year , I was getting ready for church when my first son informed me that he will not be coming with me, that he wanted to fellowship at Canaanland. I agreed and gave him some money for offering and N200 extra, which I told him not to spend. He said he would only “shine” his pocket with it.

We waited for him till about 7 p.m. and he still hadn’t come back. I was getting very afraid and impatient. I kept on remembering how my Pastor declared in the morning that “there shall be no premature death; you shall not bury your children in this year”. I held unto those prophecies with all my heart. At around 9.00 p.m., we heard 5 gunshots. I was praying fervently.

Apparently, my son ran into armed gunmen and that was the reason for the gunshots. They asked him to block the road with his father’s car, which he went with. They collected the N200 he had on him but did not harm him. I thank God for preserving his life. I don’t know what they could have done if they had searched him and found nothing on him. God is good.
